Empower LLC is seeking a Security Engineer to Threat and Vulnerability Management within Cyber Threat and Detection. The role focuses on vulnerability assessments, scanning infrastructure, and remediation coordination across multiple agile teams.

Formación

• Three years work in IT and two years in cybersecurity and/or application security.
• Experience in network vulnerability testing, penetration testing and threat assessments.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and cloud security.
• Understanding of Linux/Windows server and application administration, networking, scripting, and security.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct application vulnerability assessments.
• Administer vulnerability scanning infrastructure.
• Manage security vulnerabilities and risks with owners to remediate.
• Support the Application Security Management program across agile teams.
• Assess applications for design-related security risks and determine remediation.
• Ensure security requirements are implemented across the program.
• Implement and maintain security automation in TVM space.
• Drive implementation of threat and vulnerability management tools.
• Provide technical analysis of identified vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation.
