Job summary

Gartner, Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer to strengthen vulnerability management and endpoint security across associate devices in the United States.

You will assess vulnerabilities, coordinate remediation, and help manage privileged access controls while contributing to reporting and automation. You will work across teams to align security practices with business needs, develop metrics, and stay current on threats and technologies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or endpoint security.
• Experience prioritizing vulnerabilities and coordinating remediation.
• Knowledge of endpoint protection and Windows security.
• Ability to explain risks to varied audiences.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and prioritize endpoint vulnerabilities by risk.
• Coordinate remediation, escalate high-risk issues, report status.
• Support and improve Elevated Privilege Management platform.
• Assess software risks and enforce approved app controls.
• Review endpoint configurations to strengthen security.
• Develop security metrics, reports, and risk updates.
• Automate security analysis, reporting, and endpoint processes.
• Collaborate across teams to advance vulnerability and endpoint security.
