Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to support vulnerability management lifecycle across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments. The role emphasizes operating Tenable Security Center, analyzing findings, and guiding remediation with cross-functional teams.

The position is a contract role with remote options, offering hourly compensation and exposure to PCI/HIPAA/SOX compliance contexts. Strong communication and risk translation are essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on vulnerability management.
• Experience with Tenable products, preferably Tenable Security Center.
• Strong written communication and ability to translate risk for technical stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Brinqa or similar platforms and cloud environments.

Aufgaben

• Support the end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle from identification through remediation guidance.
• Operate and maintain vulnerability scanning capabilities (Tenable Security Center).
• Analyze findings, determine risk, and communicate priorities to tech teams.
• Develop remediation guidance and compensating controls where needed.
• Coordinate remediation with application owners and infrastructure teams.
