Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking an experienced Threat Systems Engineer to support cyber and electronic warfare threat operations across a distributed MDO environment.

You’ll engineer, configure, and validate threat systems, defensive controls, and replicable adversary infrastructure in high‑fidelity emulation environments. You will translate threat intelligence into executable configurations, ensure system stability and security, and work across live, virtual, and constructive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a cybersecurity, computer science, systems engineering or related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in cyber operations, threat systems engineering, threat emulation, or related DoD mission environments.
• Hands-on experience configuring and validating offensive and defensive cyber tools in threat emulation or cyber range settings.
• Understanding adversary infrastructure, defensive architectures, and operational employment.
• Experience translating threat intelligence into executable system configurations.
• Ability to work in sustained, high-tempo, distributed teams.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, and implement cyber threat systems and defensive controls in threat emulation environments.
• Translate threat intelligence into operational system configurations to replicate adversary infrastructure and behaviors.
• Support deployment, integration, and sustainment of threat systems across distributed environments.
• Ensure realism, repeatability, stability, and security during training and mission execution.
• Validate emulated systems to represent adversary capabilities and effects accurately.
• Conduct testing, tuning, and assessment of threat configurations for effectiveness.
• Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions or upgrades to systems.
• Support verification activities to align threat systems with objectives and avoid unintended impacts.
• Provide hands-on operational support during threat operations and exercises.
• Collaborate with engineers, threat intelligence, and government stakeholders on evolving requirements.
• Contribute to technical reporting, analyses, and system assessments.
