Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking an experienced Cyber Range Event Engineer to design, deploy, and manage realistic test environments across IT systems and weapon platforms.

You will translate mission requirements into deployable infrastructure, work with sponsors to define objectives, and lead the deployment of both physical and virtual components for live events. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, IT, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in systems integration, IT infrastructure engineering, or testbed/environment design.
• Active Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems (Windows, Linux, AD, Exchange, DNS, databases).
• Experience designing and deploying mission-representative networks (LAN/WAN, VPN, tactical radios, firewalls, routers, switches).
• Proficiency with virtualization platforms (VMware, ESXi, Hyper‑V, KVM).
• Ability to translate test requirements into actionable infrastructure plans.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Work with event sponsors and range users to define objectives.
• Design and implement integrated test environments using IT systems, networks, and mission components.
• Lead deployment of physical and virtualized systems aligning with test objectives.
• Coordinate across engineering teams for environment readiness and interoperability.
• Create environment design documents, deployment plans, and technical briefings.
• Support live event execution with configuration, troubleshooting, and adjustments.
• Capture lessons learned to improve repeatability and performance.
