Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Cybersecurity, CS, Systems Engineering, IT, Computer Engineering).
• Minimum of 15 years supporting cyber operations, threat systems engineering, threat emulation, or related DoD/MDO mission environments.
• Hands-on experience engineering, configuring, and validating offensive and defensive cyber tools within threat emulation or cyber range environments.
• Understanding of adversary cyber infrastructure and defensive architectures; ability to translate threat intelligence into executable configurations.
• Ability to operate in sustained, high-tempo environments across distributed teams.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, and implement cyber threat systems and defensive controls within threat emulation environments.
• Translate threat intelligence and engineering guidance into operational system configurations with high fidelity.
• Support deployment, integration, and sustainment of threat systems across distributed environments.
• Ensure configurations support realism while maintaining repeatability, stability, and security.
• Validate emulated threat systems to reflect adversary capabilities and operational effects.
• Conduct testing, tuning, and assessment of threat configurations for functionality and mission relevance.
• Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions or system enhancements.
• Support verification activities to align threat systems with operational objectives.
• Provide hands-on operational support during threat operations and training across classified environments.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, threat intel, and Government stakeholders to stay aligned with mission requirements.
• Contribute to technical reporting and system assessments for threat environment modernization.
