Job summary

Command Post Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced Threat Systems Engineer to support cyber and electronic warfare threat operations across a distributed MDO environment.

You will engineer, configure, and validate threat systems and defensive controls within high-fidelity emulation environments. The role requires hands-on engineering with offensive and defensive tools, translating threat intelligence into executable configurations while ensuring stability, repeatability, and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as cybersecurity or CS.
• 15+ years supporting cyber operations, threat systems engineering, or DoD-style environments.
• Hands-on experience with offensive/defensive cyber tools in emulation or cyber range contexts.
• Ability to translate threat intelligence into executable configurations and actions.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, and implement cyber threat systems and defensive controls in emulation environments.
• Translate threat intel and engineering guidance into operational system configurations with high fidelity.
• Support deployment and sustainment of threat systems across distributed cloud and edge environments.
• Ensure realism while maintaining repeatability, stability, and security during training and mission execution.
• Validate emulated capabilities and assess effectiveness of defensive controls.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, threat intel, and government stakeholders on evolving requirements.
