Role Overview

The Specialist Director, Threat Management, leads the strategy and operations for Threat Management and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the roadmap for threat detection, hunting, intelligence, incident response, automation, and service modernization.
• Oversee security platform operations across endpoint, network, cloud, data, email, SIEM, and SOAR, ensuring governance and 24/7 readiness.
• Enhance cyber defense outcomes via integrated telemetry, detection capabilities, triage, and automation workflows.
• Establish and mature managed security services, including operating models, onboarding, governance, runbooks, and automation.
• Advise executive and client stakeholders on security strategy, platform health, and cyber defense performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams of analysts, engineers, and threat hunters.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of eight years in cybersecurity leadership roles, with experience in security operations, MDR, threat management, or managed security services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC) preferred.
• Deep expertise in NDR, detection engineering, network telemetry, IDS/IPS, SIEM/SOAR, and threat-informed defense strategies.
• Experience managing 24/7 security operations, incident response, SLA/KPI management, and service reliability.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, advising CISOs and senior leaders, with the ability to align technical and business teams.
