Job summary

KPMG LLP's Advisory practice seeks a Specialist Director, Threat Management to join our Managed Services team. You will set strategy for Threat Management and MDR, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver security services across endpoint, network, cloud and data platforms.

You will work with CISOs and senior leaders, oversee 24x7 operations, and advance detection engineering, incident response enablement, and automation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity with leadership in security operations or managed security services.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or Engineering; CISSP/CISM/GIAC preferred.
• Experience with MDR and threat management operations and MITRE ATT&CK alignment.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and roadmap for Threat Management and MDR services.
• Lead security platform operations across endpoint, network, cloud, data, email, SIEM, and SOAR.
• Improve cyber defense outcomes with telemetry, detection, triage, and automation.
• Build managed security services with operating models, governance, and runbooks.
• Advise executives and clients on security operations strategy and service delivery.
• Lead and develop teams of analysts, engineers, threat hunters, and delivery staff.
