Job summary

Georgetown University seeks a security operations professional to support the Office of Public Safety, GUPD, and the Office of Threat Assessment. The role focuses on operating threat monitoring systems, driving safety initiatives, and producing detailed security reports for OPS leadership.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in security/intelligence, with strong OSINT and data-analysis capabilities, and experience with security technology. The position is hybrid.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 2 years, preferably more, of security/intelligence related experience required. Internships and/or research assistant positions are acceptable experience.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered in lieu of above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supports OPS leadership by analyzing security data and driving threat monitoring initiatives.
• Operates crisis response and threat monitoring systems with a focus on rapid, informed decision-making.
• Collaborates with campus partners to enhance physical security operations and reporting.
