Job summary

Pinkerton | Comprehensive Risk Management is seeking a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Analyst to monitor threats and support security for a major client. You will collect intelligence, assess credibility, and report on security issues affecting employees and assets worldwide.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Prior GSOC experience and MS Office proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college preferred; minimum three years in a GSOC environment.
• Familiarity with security system applications and integration is preferred.
• Knowledge of world news and current events.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to intake, evaluate, and sift large quantities of information.
• Analytical skills with the ability to provide rigorous and creative insight.
• Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Able to work independently while also being a team player.
• Self-motivated and able to achieve results with little supervision.
• Computer skills; Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
• Conduct regular monitoring of open-source intelligence, social media, and client-specific tools for threats to employees, assets and reputation.
• Collect and validate intelligence, assessing credibility and reliability of sources.
• Observe and report on global security issues such as terrorism, disasters, crime trends, and pandemics.
• Monitor geopolitical events impacting executive travel, events, and operations.
• Serve as initial command during emergencies or crises.
• Manage internal alarm monitoring, traces, and responses.
• Conduct video surveillance activities.
• Complete external threat monitoring and provide rapid communication with employees and stakeholders.
• Conduct physical security system audits.
• Manage access control and produce analytic reports.
• Support other programs including insider threat, business continuity, health and safety, travel security, executive security.
• Track, document, and report progress on projects and initiatives.
• Communicate with senior security management on critical matters.
• All other duties as assigned.
