Supports the Office of Public Safety, GUPD, and the Office of Threat Assessment by leveraging security tools and technology to drive safety initiatives. Serves as the key owner and operator of numerous crisis response and threat monitoring systems, ensuring operational readiness and rapid response capability. Conducts data analysis and prepares detailed reports to inform OPS leadership on security trends and program effectiveness. Works collaboratively with campus partners to enhance physical security operations.
Directly responsible to the Chief of Staff or designee for fulfilling duties assigned, performing analytical functions, and specialized assignments. This person often works independently with minimal direct supervision. The incumbent works with officers, technology specialists, facilities management and other university operations staff on a daily basis.
An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered in lieu of above requirements.
Position is considered as essential under the University Personnel policy guidelines and therefore is subject to be on call when necessary. Must be willing to work extended, odd, or off hours to achieve the expectations of the Department. This may include rotating tours of duty (day shifts, evening shifts, overnight shifts) with fluctuating days off, according to departmental needs.
