Georgetown University in Washington, DC seeks a Security Analyst to support the Office of Public Safety, GUPD, and the Threat Assessment office, operating crisis response systems, conducting data analysis, and delivering reports to inform OPS leadership and strengthen campus security.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of security/intelligence experience, familiarity with security software (OSINT) and Google Suite, and is prepared for on‑call duties in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 2 years, preferably more, of security/intelligence related experience required.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Office of Public Safety, GUPD, and the Office of Threat Assessment by leveraging security tools and technology to drive safety initiatives.
• Acts as the owner and operator of crisis response and threat monitoring systems, ensuring readiness and rapid response capability.
• Conducts data analysis and prepares detailed reports to inform OPS leadership on security trends and program effectiveness.
• Collaborates with campus partners to enhance physical security operations.
