Pinkerton is seeking a GSOC Analyst to monitor threats through open-source research, social media reviews, and geopolitical analysis for client executives, operations, and assets.

This position features a hybrid work schedule (in office/remote) and requires at least three years in a GSOC environment plus intelligence and security-related experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle fast-paced scenarios are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED, college preferred, with at least three years within a GSOC environment plus intelligence, geopolitical, or security-related experience.
• Familiar with standard security communication protocols and security tools.
• Knowledgeable of news and current world events.
• Self-motivated and curious.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to intake, evaluate, and sift large quantities of information.
• Able to analyze and provide rigorous and creative insight into complex situations.
• Client orientated and results driven.
• Able to multi-task and deliver timely work products in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
• Monitor open-source intelligence, social media platforms, and client tools for threats to employees, assets, and reputation.
• Track geopolitical events that may impact travel, events, and operations; provide timely reporting.
• Conduct in-depth research on global security topics to understand potential impacts on client interests.
• Monitor a 24/7 inbox and phone line.
• Escalate to security management matters related to welfare, incidents, and critical situations.
• Collect and validate intelligence; assess credibility of open-source information.
• Analyze threats and produce actionable intelligence products, including threat and travel risk assessments.
• Provide ongoing news monitoring; maintain sensitive information.
• Track, document and report progress on projects.
