Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least two years within a GSOC environment, plus risk intelligence, geopolitical, or security-related experience.
• Familiarity with standard security communication protocols and security tools.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to intake, evaluate, and sift large quantities of information.
• Able to analyze and provide rigorous and creative insight into complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
• Monitor open-source intelligence, social media, and client tools for threats to employees and assets.
• Track geopolitical events impacting travel, events, and operations with timely reporting.
• Conduct research on terrorism, natural disasters, crime trends, and international politics.
• Validate intelligence and assess credibility of open-source information.
• Produce actionable intelligence products for incidents, including threat and travel risk assessments.
• Support GSOC with ongoing news monitoring.
• Maintain highly sensitive and confidential information.
• Document and report progress on projects within responsibility.
• Escalate security matters to management as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
