Job summary

Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations, Inc. is seeking a Global Security Operations Center Analyst to monitor open-source intelligence, social media, and client-specific feeds to identify threats to executives, operations, and assets.

You will vet crisis responses and provide timely, actionable intelligence. The role requires a bachelor’s degree with at least two years in a GSOC environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least two years within a GSOC environment, plus risk intelligence, geopolitical, or security-related experience.
• Familiarity with standard security communication protocols and security tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to evaluate large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
• Conduct regular monitoring of open-source intelligence, social media platforms, and client-specific intelligence gathering tools for threats to employees, assets and reputation.
• Monitor geopolitical events that may impact executive travel, events, and operations, and provide timely reporting.
• Research issues related to global security to understand potential impacts on client interests.
• Collect and validate intelligence, assess credibility of open-source information.
• Analyze threats and produce actionable intelligence products for incidents, risk assessments, etc.
• Support GSOC with ongoing news monitoring.
• Maintain highly confidential information; track and report progress on projects.
• Escalate matters to security management as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
