Job summary

Jewish Federation Los Angeles is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to collect, monitor, analyze, and disseminate open-source information with a threat nexus to the local Jewish community in Los Angeles and surrounding regions.

The role involves producing intelligence products, presenting findings, and coordinating with CSI staff and partner institutions. A hybrid work model applies, with reporting to the CSI Analysis Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or military/professional intelligence training.
• 3+ years’ experience in intelligence analysis or related field.
• Knowledge of foreign and domestic violent extremists and the threat landscape.
• Familiar with major social media platforms and OSINT collection.
• Experience with investigative/risk-management tools and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor online sources and social media for threats to the Jewish community.
• Produce intelligence products and timely threat assessments.
• Research security issues: terrorism, hate groups, crime trends, protests, weather, disasters.
• Disseminate information to CSI staff and partner institutions.
• Use structured analytic techniques to identify patterns and threats.
• Present findings to CSI Analysis Center and stakeholders.
• Monitor events via the security platform and respond to alerts.
• Maintain records in case management system.
• Collaborate with local, national, and international security groups.
• Serve as CSI Duty Officer during off-hours as assigned.
