Job summary

Jewish Federation Los Angeles is seeking a CSI Intelligence Analyst to collect, monitor, analyze, and disseminate open-source information with a threat nexus to the Jewish community in Los Angeles and surrounding regions.

The CSI Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the production of intelligence products, as well as the regular monitoring of online open sources for potential security and operational threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent intelligence training.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in intelligence analysis.
• Knowledge of threat landscape facing the Jewish community.
• Strong OSINT skills across platforms and formats.
• Experience with investigative/risk management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor online open sources and social media for threats to community security.
• Produce actionable intelligence products in a timely manner.
• Research security issues: terrorism, hate groups, crime trends, protests, weather, disasters.
• Disseminate information to CSI staff and partner institutions.
• Apply structured analytic techniques to identify trends and threats.
• Present findings to stakeholders and conduct briefings.
• Monitor incident platforms and respond to alerts as needed.
• Maintain meticulous records in case management systems.
• Liaise with local, national, and international security groups.
• Stand duty as CSI Duty Officer as assigned.
