Job summary

The Jewish Federation Of Greater Los Angeles is seeking a CSI Intelligence Analyst to support the Community Security Initiative. You will collect, monitor, analyze and disseminate open-source information with a threat nexus to the Jewish community in Los Angeles and surrounding regions.

Reporting to the CSI Operations Supervisor, you will produce actionable intelligence, conduct OSINT on security issues, and liaise with local and national Jewish security groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in regional/strategic studies or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of intelligence analysis experience.
• Knowledge of threat landscape affecting regional Jewish communities.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and OSINT collection.

Responsibilities

• Monitor online open sources and social media for threats to the community.
• Produce timely intelligence products on threat actors targeting LA communities.
• Research security issues including terrorism, crime trends, and protests.
• Disseminate regional information to CSI staff and partners.
• Use analytic methods to identify trends and emerging threats.
• Present findings to CSI stakeholders and partners.
• Monitor incident platforms for situational alerts and respond accordingly.
• Maintain detailed incident records in case management system.
• Liaise with local and national Jewish security groups.
• Stand duty as CSI Duty Officer as assigned.
