Job summary

Jewish Federation Los Angeles is seeking a Northern California Intelligence Analyst to monitor, analyze, and disseminate threat information relevant to the Jewish community. You will produce intelligence briefs and coordinate with the Bay Area Community Security Program from the JFEDLA site.

The role requires OSINT expertise, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a hybrid work arrangement with onsite duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in regional/international studies or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in research, analysis, threat intelligence reports.
• Knowledge of Bay Area and Northern California regions preferred.
• Experience with OSINT in open sources and social media platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication, time management, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, collect, analyze, and disseminate regional threat information for CSI and partner programs.
• Conduct online open-source monitoring for threats to the Jewish community.
• Produce intelligence briefings and actionable products promptly.
• Research issues related to regional security, including terrorism and crime trends.
• Identify intelligence through data collection from internal and open sources.
• Serve as liaison to Community Security Program at the Jewish Federation Bay Area.
• Use analytics to identify trends and emerging threats, maintain case records.
• Liaise with local, national, and international Jewish security groups.
