Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a skilled software engineer to design and scale ACTI's threat intelligence platforms. You will own critical components, architect distributed systems, and lead multi-team initiatives across AWS cloud architectures.

Responsibilities include implementing petabyte-scale data processing, mentoring engineers, and ensuring reliable end-to-end delivery from design to production. The role requires deep expertise in distributed systems and Python/Typescript.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale distributed software applications and services (multi-tiered, multi-threaded).
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own and architect critical components of ACTI's threat intelligence platforms.
• Design and implement distributed systems that process petabytes of security data.
• Lead the development of service-oriented architectures that integrate complex threat intelligence workflows.
• Drive technical decisions around data modeling, storage solutions, and processing frameworks.
• Own the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and operational excellence.
• Mentor junior engineers on system design, coding practices, and architectural patterns.
• Partner with threat intelligence analysts to translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Build some of the largest scale intelligence tooling to defend against evolving security threats.
• Participate in production incidents and on-call rotation.
