Deloitte Cyber team is seeking a skilled Managed Services Engineer II to help develop, test, tune, and maintain detections for client security operations. You will review threat intelligence, craft detection rules, and collaborate with SOC analysts and client teams to ensure effective threat coverage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering.
  • 2+ years of cybersecurity, security operations, threat intelligence, or related fields.
  • Experience analyzing authentication events, network traffic, or security logs.
  • Experience documenting technical findings and detection logic.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

  • Review threat intelligence to identify detection requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and update detection rules and queries.
  • Configure and tune detections; identify false positives and improvements.
  • Test and validate detection rules against threats; document results.
  • Monitor detections; investigate gaps; collaborate with SOC analysts and client teams.
