Job summary

Eisai US in the East Region seeks an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison – Oncology (Endometrial & Differentiated Thyroid Cancer) to lead KOL engagement and translate insights into regional strategies. You will partner with field colleagues to identify opportunities and ensure compliant, high-impact educational initiatives.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in oncology with leadership experience, strong analytics, and travel up to 60%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in oncology and 2 years of account management experience or people-leadership skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to Eisai's human health care mission and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, own and execute KOL engagement plans that deepen partnerships and support business objectives.
• Drive strategic KOL engagement, translating insights and emerging trends into actionable recommendations that shape brand strategies.
• Attain cutting-edge expertise with relevant data readouts, podium and medical congress outputs.
• Partner with external peer-to-peer vendors to support educational initiatives.
• Lead speaker identification, product and compliance training, and manage branded and unbranded programs, providing feedback to speakers.
• Enable local/account level partnership with national, regional and emerging thought leaders.
• Support advisory boards with KOL identification, engagement, ad-board deck development and logistics consistent with compliance policies.
• Engage face-to-face with customers in order to maximize impact.
• Collaborate with field colleagues to synthesize and share evolving KOL insights and identify regional marketing opportunities.
• Contribute to a culture of breaking-through behaviors, growth mindset, and continuous feedback.
• Collaborate with Alliance Partner colleagues to distill and present combination product insights to alliance stakeholders.
