Keck Medicine of USC in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced RN Coordinator (Thoracic) for full-time day shifts in Surgery. The role partners with the Director of Perioperative Services to manage unit operations, staffing, and staff development.

Requirements include a BSN, 2 years OR experience, strong organization and customer service skills; CNOR/BLS certifications are preferred. This is a non-exempt position with 10-hour days in LA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• 2 years Operating Room experience immediately prior to application.
• Organization/time management skills.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service behavior.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of the unit and assist the Director of Perioperative Services.
• Lead nursing performance improvement, staff evaluations, staffing, and scheduling.
• Assist in orientation and training of new employees.
