Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC Arcadia Hospital is seeking a Staff RN - Surgery for a full-time day shift (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM), union, non-exempt, in Arcadia, CA. The role supports perioperative nursing care and collaborates with the unit team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Required: California RN license with ACLS/BLS as appropriate and an associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred. Prior RN experience in the surgical/nursing area and one year of acute care is preferred.

Qualifications

• A registered nurse with current RN experience in the specific service or department is preferred.
• Current RN experience in assigned area of Nursing, preferred.
• One-year acute care experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to the unit Manager and/or the Director of the department.
• Adherence to identified nursing standards of practice.
• Demonstrates competence in critical behaviors for the assigned area.
• Direct care and coordination with LVN/CNA, nursing student, and logistics staff as needed.
• Participates in organization-wide Performance Improvement activities.
