Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Field Medical Expert to support the Thoracic oncology portfolio across MI, OH, and IN. You will deliver approved medical and scientific education to healthcare professionals, surface insights to inform medical strategy, and help identify clinical trial sites while supporting investigators.

In this field-based role, expect to lead strategic medical initiatives, engage diverse stakeholders, and travel up to 60–80% to fulfill responsibilities and collaborate with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health science required.
• PharmD/PhD or equivalent terminal degree highly preferred.
• PharmD/PhD with 6 years experience; MBA/MSc with 8 years; BA/BSc with 10 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers within a territory, coordinating with Pfizer colleagues.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas and Pfizer medicines for internal/external stakeholders.
• Provide Medical Information and surface customer insights in line with Pfizer guidance.
• Lead field medical activities and contribute to content strategy and tactics.
• Represent Pfizer Medical leadership with professional associations and societies.
