Job summary

Pfizer seeks a field-based scientific expert to support the Thoracic oncology portfolio across California, Nevada and Hawaii. You will deliver approved medical education to healthcare professionals, surface insights that inform medical strategy, and help identify potential clinical trial sites to advance patient outcomes.

The candidate should have a PharmD/PhD (or equivalent), with 6+ years of experience, strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, and be prepared to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health science required.
• PharmD, PhD or equivalent terminal doctoral degree highly preferred.
• 6 years of PharmD/PhD experience; MBA/MSc with 8 years; BA/BSc with 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers in the territory.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas and Pfizer medicines.
• Serve as a resource for Medical Information and customer insights.
• Contribute to Medical content strategy and execute field Medical tactics.
• Deliver approved medical content and identify priority customer segments.
• Provide medical responses to unsolicited requests from HCPs with Pfizer guidance.
• Lead advisory boards and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Collaborate with Global Medical Affairs on trial site identification.
• Support Investigator Sponsored Research and maintain engagement with patient groups.
