Job summary

Pfizer is seeking an Oncology Field Medical Director (non-MD) to lead medical strategy and engagement across designated US states, delivering approved content and ensuring patient-centric communications. You will drive regional field medical activities, collaborate with Medical Affairs, R&D, and cross-functional teams, mentor staff, and co-lead advisory boards, while traveling 50–75%.

Requirements: PharmD/PhD or equivalent; 5+ years in field medical leadership; MBA/MSc or BA/BSc with experience;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health science required.
• PharmD/PhD or equivalent terminal degree highly preferred.
• Experience: PharmD/PhD with 5 years; MBA/MSc with 7; BA/BSc with 8.
• Subject matter expert recognized across internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate broad leadership and collaboration in a matrix environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% of time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approved medical content about Pfizer medicines and relevant topics in the designated therapeutic area.
• Identify and seek medical engagement from priority customer segments in assigned Therapeutic Area.
• Provide truthful, accurate, and scientifically supported information to HCPs in a compliant manner.
• Effectively manage and provide scientific leadership in a regional territory with cross-therapeutic area colleagues.
• Contribute to/co-lead virtual advisory boards with manager oversight.
• Field relevant inbound queries from HCPs via triage process.
• Collaborate with Global Medical Affairs to identify sites for Pfizer-sponsored trials.
