Job summary

Pfizer is seeking an Oncology Field Medical Director (non-MD) to provide therapeutic area expertise across US states. You will plan and execute medical strategy, engage key HCPs, and collaborate with Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations on trials and content strategy.

You will lead communications across channels, ensure health-literacy centric materials, and travel extensively to support congresses and field activities. A strong leadership background in Medical Affairs is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health science required.
• PharmD/PhD or equivalent terminal doctoral degree highly preferred.
• Experience: PharmD/PhD with 5+ years; MBA/MSc with 7+; BA/BSc with 8+.
• Subject matter expert with leadership and collaboration across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approved medical content for Oncology in designated territory.
• Identify priority customer segments and engage HCPs within Pfizer guidelines.
• Provide truthful, scientifically supported information responding to direct requests from HCPs.
• Lead regional medical efforts and collaborate with cross-therapeutic area colleagues.
• Co-lead virtual advisory boards and manage medical inquiries through triage.
• Support Investigator Sponsored Research and identify trial sites.
• Keep abreast of congress data, literature, and asset leadership needs.
• Travel 50–75% as required.
