Job summary

Newly Weds Foods, Inc. in Watertown, MA is hiring a production worker to support our food coating blending and packaging lines. You will help prepare lines, verify weighed ingredients, and ensure the pack is completed accurately to meet customer orders.

We offer training and a stable career in food manufacturing with paid overtime for Sundays and holidays. Applicants directly hired by NWF receive full pay and benefits; agency applicants are not considered.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year packaging experience in food manufacturing.
• Overtime and Saturday work required.

Responsibilities

• Set up machine for startup and ensure proper operation.
• Verify ingredients being bagged and maintain batch quality with supervisor.
• Fill bags to required weight and keep packaging line standards.
• Assist in stacking and palletizing as needed.
• Complete paperwork and maintain product integrity.
• Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Keep area and equipment clean and follow LOTO procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
