Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is hiring for our Watertown plant to support the packaging line and production of food coatings used in chicken tenders, fish sticks, onion rings, and more. You will help verify ingredients bagged and assist in meeting customer orders.

Training is available, with opportunities for overtime on Sundays and holidays. The role requires standing for long periods, ability to work overtime and Saturdays, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced food manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• 1 year minimum of packaging experience in food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up machine for startup.
• Verify ingredient being bagged.
• Verify batch with Supervisor as needed.
• Fill bags with product to required weight and maintain packaging line standards.
• Assist in stacking at end of line and load boxes/bags onto pallet.
• Complete paperwork as needed.
• Maintain product integrity.
• Assist in inventory and cycle counts.
• Keep area and equipment clean; follow LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Summary

Newly Weds Foods is hiring for our Watertown plant! We provide ingredients to some of the biggest brand names in the country. In blending, we follow recipes but this is in bulk using thousands of pounds of ingredients that we use forklifts to move around. Production workers help to perform functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting packaging goals for customer orders. We can train you in this role! Essential Functions

• Properly sets up machine for startup.
• Verifies ingredient being bagged.
• Verifies batch with Supervisor as needed.
