Job summary

Personnel Resources, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead our Troy, Alabama plastics manufacturing operations on the third shift. You will oversee production schedules, quality control, safety, and a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have at least two years of supervisory experience in plastics, knowledge of blow molding and/or injection molding, and strong leadership and communication skills. Experience with IQMS and Microsoft Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in plastics manufacturing.
• Blow molding and/or injection molding experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work third shift, including weekends as needed.
• Experience with IQMS, Microsoft Office, and other manufacturing software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shift operations, including production schedules, staffing, and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Train, mentor, and support production employees.
• Monitor production processes and resolve issues that impact efficiency or quality.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to improve operational performance.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices.
