Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products is seeking a Machine Operator II (Entry Operator) for the third shift (5:45pm - 6am) to run the entry end of the coating line, load and unload coils, and enter coil information into Oracle with supervision.

You will work with QC Lab Tech and Paint Line Team Leader to maintain production quality and efficiency, using basic tools and safe handling of coils. Opportunity to progress through a structured tier program and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Loading and removing coils, measuring gauges and widths.
• Entering coil information into Oracle and coordinating with QC Lab Tech and Paint Line Team Leader.
• Following production flow and allocating raw coils to the schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate the entry end of the coating line.
• Load and unload coils and perform coil checks for quality before sending to line.
• Coordinate with team members to maintain production quality and efficiency.
