Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products in Middletown, OH is seeking a Third Shift Entry Operator to support the coating line operations. You will load/remove coils, measure gauge and width, inspect coil quality, and enter data into Oracle. You will help plan coil lengths and coordinate with teammates to sustain production quality and efficiency.

The role offers a structured shift schedule (5:45pm–6am) and a pathway to growth within the manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• 6+ months of experience operating mobile equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the entry end of the coating line as assigned.
• Load and remove coils and take coil measurements (gauge and width).
• Inspect coils for quality before sending to the line and input coil data into Oracle.
• Calculate coil length requirements and allocate raw coils to production schedules.
• Coordinate with team members to maintain production quality and efficiency.

Position placement is determined based on the needs of the business. Machine Operator II (Entry Operator) will be responsible for operating the entry end of the coating line.
