Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products, LLC is hiring for a third shift Machine Operator II (Entry Operator) to perform the entry end of the coating line. You will load/remove coils, measure gauge and width, inspect coil quality, and record data in Oracle.

The role requires basic tool knowledge and 6+ months of manufacturing experience. Training and a structured tier progression are provided, with a comprehensive benefits package and performance-based increases.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• 6+ months of experience operating mobile equipment in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate the entry end of the coating line.
• Load and unload coils and take coil measurements (gauge and width).
• Inspect coils before sending to the line and follow QC/ Paint Line guidance.
• Enter coil data into Oracle and calculate coil length requirements.
• Allocate raw coils to production schedules and coordinate with team to maintain quality and efficiency.

Position placement is determined based on the needs of the business. Machine Operator II (Entry Operator) will be responsible for operating the entry end of the coating line.
