Job summary

Matchbook Learning in Indianapolis is seeking a dedicated Third Grade teacher to join Wendell Phillips School 63. You will deliver instruction using provided, standards-aligned curriculum with fidelity and be coached with data-driven insights to drive student growth.

This full-time role supports IREAD-3 readiness, collaboration with instructional teams, and proactive family communication, with a starting salary of $51,500.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or in progress.
• Commitment to literacy development and data-driven instruction.
• Willingness to enroll in a state-approved transition-to-teaching program if not licensed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily ELA and Math instruction using a district-approved curriculum with 100% fidelity.
• Prepare students for IREAD-3 through data-driven literacy instruction and targeted intervention.
• Use weekly/bi-weekly data cycles to identify student needs and adjust instruction in real time.
• Implement SIOP-aligned strategies to support Multilingual Learners across content.
• Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment aligned with PBIS.
• Communicate proactively with families and collaborate with school teams.
