Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field is required.
• Valid Indiana teaching license OR enrolled in / willing to enroll in a state-approved transition-to-teaching program.
• Genuine growth mindset and openness to coaching and feedback.
• Commitment to equity, high expectations, and serving students with high needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily ELA and Math instruction with 100% fidelity.
• Use assessment data to drive instruction and small groups.
• Implement SIOP-aligned strategies to support Multilingual Learners.
• Conduct regular student conferencing to know each child as an individual learner.
• Maintain a structured, positive classroom using PBIS systems.
• Participate in coaching cycles and professional development.
• Build relationships with families through consistent communication.
• Collaborate with restorative team, MLL director, SPED staff, and intervention teachers.
• Support school culture initiatives and morning circles.
• Enter grades and maintain accurate student records.
