Job summary

  • Must be flexible for urgent technical support, occasionally off hours.

Shift

Nights 2, Thu‑Sat and alt Wed, 6pm‑6am

Responsibilities
  • Thin films (CVD/PVD) process engineering support in a high‑volume 24x7 manufacturing environment. This will include SPC process monitoring, responding to lot disposition from tool faults, identifying and addressing potential quality impacts to products, and supporting engineering products including process development and tool qualification.
  • Setting up recipes on deposition/sputtering tools in the metals or CVD area.
  • Work closely with operators and provide training and support when needed.
  • Review defect maps and SPC charts.
  • Understand how to verify tool logs in all toolsets.
Profile
  • Associate degree in a technical field or high‑school graduate with at least 3 years of semiconductor process experience in thin films.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong data mining and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and react to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work in a clean room for extended periods (12‑hour shifts) in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Must be flexible for urgent technical support, occasionally off‑hours.
Preference
  • Experience in thin‑film operation.
  • Experience in holding lot disposition in any fab environment area.
  • Understanding of semiconductor processes and equipment.

Compensation

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $28 to $35. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
