Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a process engineer for thin films in a high-volume, 24x7 fab environment in Beaverton, OR. You will set up deposition/ sputtering recipes, train operators, and monitor SPC charts while addressing tool faults and quality impacts.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or HS plus 3 years of semiconductor thin-film experience, excellent communication, data mining, and strong organizational skills. Flexibility for off-hours support is required.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in technical field or HS +3 years of Semiconductor process experience in Thinfilms.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
  • Strong data mining and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and able to react to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work in clean room for extended period (12-hour shifts) in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be flexible for urgent technical support (occasionally off hours).

Responsibilities

  • Thin films process engineering support in high volume 24x7 manufacturing environment. This will include, but not limited to SPC Process monitoring, responding to lot disposition from tool faults, identifying and addressing potential quality impact to products, supporting engineering products including process development and tool qualification.
  • Setting up recipes on deposition/sputtering tools in Metals or CVD area.
  • Work closely with operators and provide training and support if needed.
  • Review of defect map and SPC charts.
  • Understand how to verify tool logs in all toolsets.

  • Experience in hold lot disposition in any fab environment area
  • Understanding of semiconductor processes and equipment.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $28 to $35.
