Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Richardson, TX seeks an Equipment Engineer (Thin Films) to support equipment used in the manufacturing and development of advanced technology products. You will drive reliability and lead cross-functional improvement projects to reduce cycle time and yield loss.

Required: B.S. in Engineering or equivalent, 3+ years of experience, knowledge of pneumatics/robotics/electronics/semiconductor processes, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical capability: pneumatics, robotics, electronics, and semiconductor processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving ability.
• Knowledge and application of SPC in manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Provide engineering support of equipment used in manufacturing and development of Skyworks advanced technology products.
• Improve equipment availability and reduce cycle time, costs and yield loss through data driven improvements.
• Upgrade and re-engineer equipment to improve performance.
• Define and improve preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Coordinate machine installations to support factory capacity expansions.
• Present data analysis and improvement actions to FAB management and technicians.
• Lead cross functional continuous improvement teams to address root causes.
