Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Process Development Engineer in Richardson, TX to develop and optimize SMT, semiconductor packaging, and advanced assembly processes for high-volume production and new product introductions.

You will lead process characterization, DOE studies, and work with equipment and materials to improve yields. This role requires strong collaboration, leadership, and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize SMT, semiconductor packaging, and advanced assembly processes.
• Support volume production and New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Support manufacturing for SMT, Flip Chip Attach and Die Attach.
• Lead process characterization, DOE execution, and process window development.
• Evaluate new equipment, processes, and materials.
• Generate post-build/DFM reports.
• Lead 5S/process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor yields daily and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with fixturing vendors to support assembly in the factory.
• Mentor technicians and operators on process control and best practices.
• Develop process documentation, work instructions, control plans, and manufacturing standards.
