Job summary

TSMC Washington in Camas, WA is seeking a hands-on Equipment Technician to support the Thin Film - PVD area, maintain and repair semiconductor manufacturing tools, and document logs. The role requires an Associate’s degree in electronics or a related field and reliability in a cleanroom environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong problem-solving and communication skills, ability to work with diverse teams, and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with vendors, Equipment Engineers, Equipment Technicians and other tool owners to improve the overall area/ tool performance.
• Performing basic tool maintenance and repairs according to equipment operating instructions
• Providing accurate and detailed information for equipment logs, repair data, and tool status, at shift pass down
• Certification on tools
• Supporting the Thin Film - PVD area with other Miscellaneous tasks as needed
