Job summary

Join TSMC Washington in Camas as a tool/maintenance technician, working on semiconductor equipment and tools in a fast-paced cleanroom environment. You will collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to optimize area and tool performance, maintain equipment, and document repair data.

The position requires an Associate’s degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). On-site, 12-hour shift options (days/nights) with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Work with vendors, Equipment Engineers, Equipment Technicians and tool owners to improve area/tool performance.
• Perform basic tool maintenance and repairs per operating instructions.
• Provide accurate information for equipment logs, repair data, and tool status at shift handover.
• Certification on tools.
• Support the Thin Film - PVD area with other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Working closely with vendors, Equipment Engineers, Equipment Technicians and other tool owners to improve the overall area/ tool performance.
• Performing basic tool maintenance and repairs according to equipment operating instructions
• Providing accurate and detailed information for equipment logs, repair data, and tool status, at shift pass down
• Certification on tools
• Supporting the Thin Film - PVD area with other Miscellaneous tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cleanroom environment.

Work Location & Schedule:

On-site at Camas, Washington, Monday–Friday. Position typically assigned to a 12-hour day or night shift compressed work week schedule with 3 days on one week and 4 days on the next.

Pay Transparency & Other Compensation:

At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position,the starting salary typically ranges between $27.30 and $36.29 per hour.The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from$27.30 - $39.30 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
