Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking an Equipment Engineer to install, configure, and maintain semiconductor tooling in our Marcy, NY fab. You will perform preventive maintenance, drive cost-reduction projects, and collaborate with process engineering to improve quality and tool availability.

Strong documentation, writing, and presentation skills are essential, with a Sunday–Thursday work schedule. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and knowledge of AMAT Endura/Producer equipment, with a focus

Qualifications

Knowledge of semiconductor processes and equipment.
Experience with AMAT Endura and AMAT Producer equipment desirable.
Proven ability in technical writing and presentations.
Willingness to work a Sunday-Thursday schedule.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain various semiconductor tools.
Conduct preventative maintenance and drive improvement projects.
Create and modify procedures and maintenance specs to increase tool availability.
Collaborate with process engineering and production to improve quality and reduce costs.
Create tool configuration docs and assist with capacity/process development transfers.
Present technical data and project updates to peers and management.
