Job summary

Wolfspeed, based in Marcy, NY, invites you to join a team that maintains semiconductor support tools to improve reliability and uptime. This role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, and collaboration with production teams onsite.

In this position you will work the Back End Nights schedule (Wed–Sat, with alternating Saturdays off) and have the opportunity to advance to an Engineer level position after training, depending on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

AAS in Mechanical or Electronics Technology or bachelor’s degree in related field.
Ability to read and interpret instructions, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
At least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience.
This role is onsite in Marcy, NY. Must be willing to work onsite.

Responsibilities

Monitor Equipment in assigned process area and be familiar with tool issues
Create/modify Procedures and preventative maintenance specifications as needed to improve tool availability or enhance training of technicians
Trouble shoot minor tool issues to resolution
Use of diagnostic tools, hand tools, and electronic measurement equipment
Perform routine preventive maintenance on tools in accordance with equipment specifications
Establish relationships across each team on the production floor to drive strong communication and collaboration
