Job summary

RTP Company in Dayton, NV seeks a production operator to set up and run thermoplastic extrusion equipment that blends, mixes, and packages materials into finished products. You will work Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am, with training on day shift for 3 weeks.

The role requires following procedures, ensuring quality, inspecting materials, and documenting logs. Candidates should be able to lift up to 60 lbs, work in temperature extremes, and pass forklift and respirator tests; prior manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and operate extrusion machinery to mix, extrude, and package materials following procedures and ISO standards.
• Weigh ingredients and feed into machinery or ensure correct ingredients are delivered to the line.
• Monitor production and equipment for safe, efficient operation and quality conformance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues and transfer samples to the lab for evaluation as needed.
• Document logs, data reports, and procedures; maintain data integrity and complete system inputs.
