Job summary

RTP Company is seeking a Production Operator to set up and operate thermoplastic extrusion equipment, blending and packaging materials to produce customer products. The role follows a 3rd shift (11pm–7am) and requires strict adherence to safety and ISO standards.

Candidates will weigh ingredients, monitor equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain accurate logs and data. This is an on-site, full-time hourly position with pre-employment safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow manuals and procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs regularly.
• Must be dependable with excellent attendance and able to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and operate machinery to mix, extrude, discharge, or handle materials according to procedures.
• Weigh ingredients and ensure correct delivery to work area.
• Monitor production and equipment for safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues.
• Document logs, data reports, and procedures; ensure data integrity.
