Job summary

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia-Pacific company, is seeking Production Operators for the Jonesboro, AR facility. You will ensure efficient production and packaging of quality products while maintaining cost and morale.

Shifts available include Nights 6:55pm–7:00am and Days 6:55am–7:00pm, with pay of $22.00-$24.00 plus $0.75 shift differential for nights. You may lift up to 70 lbs in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in manufacturing, warehouse, or military environments.
• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Operate thermoforming equipment (extruders, ovens, former, trim press) at target efficiencies.
• Troubleshoot and adjust thermoforming equipment settings.
• Ensure product quality via visual inspections and testing equipment.
• Use a computer to retrieve and enter product information.
• Ensure labels and packaging materials match orders.
• Assist with changeovers and minor PMs.
• Promote communication between packers, operators, supervisors, and staff.
• Follow safety policies and ensure others adhere to safety standards.
• Lift up to 70 lbs and work up to 12 hours in a loud industrial environment.
