Job summary

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is hiring a palletizer technician at the Jonesboro, AR facility. You will operate forklift and material handling equipment, move materials to staging, and support production with proper movement and accuracy.

Night shift 6:55pm–7:00am; pay $20.00–$23.60 per hour with a 0.75 shift differential. This role includes working with palletizers and conveyors in a loud, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Experience working with a computer or computerized systems.

Responsibilities

• Load pallet dispensers with GRADE A pallets.
• Change ribbon and label paper on LPN printer and case.
• Check quality of pallets, labels and other palletizer supplies.
• Change film on both wrappers.
• Reprocess rejected boxes on gravity conveyors.
• Reset and restart robotic cells, pallet conveyors system and wrappers when faults occur.
• Direct and reassign material to balance cell flow.
• Coordinate with scheduling and production regarding new changeover boxes.
• Identify mechanical problems and coordinate with maintenance for repair.
• Direct loading of product to correct shuttles and fix scanning errors.
