Job summary

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is seeking a Setup Technician at the Jonesboro, AR facility. You'll safely remove, install, and align tooling on thermoforming and extrusion equipment to meet production specs and quality standards. You will collaborate with Production, Maintenance and Quality teams to ensure smooth changeovers and minimize downtime.

Pay ranges from $21.50 to $28.00 per hour based on experience. Day shift is available, 7am–7pm.

Qualifications

Driver's license required and forklift experience.
Hands-on mechanical experience and ability to perform precision measurements.
Experience with micrometers, dial calipers, and tape measures.

Responsibilities

Safely remove and install thermoforming and extrusion process tooling.
Perform product and tooling changeovers according to procedures and schedules.
Inspect tooling before installation for damage, wear and cleanliness.
Position, align, secure, and verify tooling prior to startup.
Connect and disconnect tooling-related utilities and components.
Verify tolerances with precision measuring instruments.
Handle tooling to prevent damage to tooling, equipment and products.
Return tooling to storage and ensure it is identified and protected.
Maintain clean, organized tooling and setup areas.
Operate a forklift and travel locally between sites as needed.
Perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a loud industrial environment.
